Oblivion will forever be my most favorite experience of any dark age fantasy, Skyrim, Elden ring, Skies of Arcadia, kings quest, dragons age, and of course the legend of Zelda all are wonderful experiences I wish I could get for the first time again

I've been watching your videos as a way to cool off my head from all the commentary videos I usually listen too for a while now it's really helped me on the days when I don't know what to watch or have trouble falling asleep, and thus far I've enjoyed your channel, but I feel that the sound mixing can be a little off sometimes, as sometimes the music is too high or the voice-acting is too high, and sometimes the battle sounds overpower everything else in the video, so if you could be mindful of that in the future that would be great, I know that I'm just a single guy in a world of tons more, but sometimes I just feel the need to express my thoughts because others are afraid too, I ain't pointing any fingers I just have experienced it more than once both on the internet and in the real world, much like my option that the voice acting or Courtenay Taylor in this game comes out completely flat at times, especially at the times when she tries to sound cool, take Silver Shroud as an example the voice acting of Brian Thomas handles it way better, Taylor just sounds like a first time role player with no previous experience, I know Taylor is an experienced Voice actor, but even professionals shouldn't be free of criticism, and I'm tired of people fawning over her like she's a goddess and completely forget that she's a human being just like us and just like us, she's capable of making mistakes.

Still waiting on a Elden Ring longplay

When I was about 9, my dad had cancer and he didn't use his work PC anymore, so he let me use it for gaming. A friend from school told me about Oblivion and how cool it was fighting in Kvatch against Daedra, so I went to game stop and bought a copy that week. Sank endless time into the game to distract myself from everything. As a kid, and even an adult, we look for calming things to help us escape really shitty situations. Oblivion was more than an escape, it was a soft, warm hug everytime the soundtrack started and your footsteps began. Every night before bed, I would end my session by going to the Knights priory, joining them for dinner together, greeting everyone one, carefully placing food and wine on the table, and eating together. Once dinner was finished, I would head up to the room and read whatever book I had found earlier that session, then fall asleep in game, and then go to bed imagining I was still ingame. I'll still do it from time to time if I had a hard day, but honestly, just hearing the soundtrack and ambience, brings back all those memories. Even when dealing with anxiety or depression, I can play the soundtrack and imagine myself at the Priory once again, eating a freshly hunted meal with my Knights, and reading a book before bed. Nothing will ever come close to that level of comfort for me. Games are really beautiful.

I had no idea Etienne Rarnis was a member of the thieves guild! Though, now that I think about it, it makes sense. I've never done the main quest on a save where I also joined the Thieves Guild, so I never got the chance to see him in the cistern or have him recognize me at the embassy. That's so cool!

Everytime i try to play this game again, i just get to a point where i turn off collision, and increase speed so i can just fly around and look at everything. Then i kinda get out of my nostalgic mood but its really cuz i just am not playing it like i used to. I have wanted to revisit this game in the same way i played it in 2007 when i was 15. I just cant keep my attention on it when i know theres cheats to go ultra fast and fly. Kinda sad this is what life has done to me, also as a father to a 6 year old boy, i just cant find the time to play it how its meant to be played. But i connect so deep with the comments of people longing to return to the original way this game felt to play when it came out. This was some really advanced stuff and the music always stuck with me. Maybe its time for me to finally make peace with my memories and nostalgia and accept that those times came and went and they were good times in my life that i can be hopeful my son will have one day in his own time. Just a tip: Wild-Berry makes an incense called rugged leather, smells exactly like it sounds, and playing Skyrim while burning some of that incense in the room is a life changing experience.

I'm gonna assume the enemies being huge damage sponges is just a "Very Hard" thing, because honestly it looks bad enough to stop me from buying an otherwise promising game.

A stunning title. I became obsessed with it and played nothing else for weeks. It's a flawless RPG. The beautiful music helped enormously with the immersion. It was so good the follow up title, Skyrim, I personally felt was disappointing in comparison. A modded Fallout 3.

I never understand why they stopped using certain characters in these games... like where is Captain Blade and his crew in this game? The best characters were from the Air Attack games, but they're never seen again in the other games?
